Getting engaged is exciting! Planning a Wedding is a giant wake up call. There is really so much more to it that couples look forward to the End of planning. All the details can be overwhelming. There is some truth to the idea that you need time to Prepare to plan a wedding. Often couples just jump in with both feet by sending out DM's for prices. Quickly they realize that the fun of looking through the “Trends” and “Inspiration” is lost in the growing mountain of questions and costs. Weddings are complicated. This one life event will change you. Your thoughts, your perspectives, your relationships and your finances. You won't be the same people after the wedding. You will have been confronted with many unexpected things that you'll never forget. Things you've learned from. You will evolve and grow together before the Marriage even begins. A wedding is a process of your own making. Just like the marriage to come, your words and actions are work. Values and importance is given and compromised. The best of times and the worst of times during planning is great practice for the future. A wedding is an experience. It's a step toward a state of existance, Happily Married. Prepare. Learn. Grow together. And when it's all over, you can puff out your chest and add the wedding as Experience under your belt. Use those skills going forward. In life and in your new Marriage.
